Oakmont Law was born out of a desire to drive change in the Commercial and Technology legal fields. Due to the pressure to innovate, and with technology advancing at an increasing pace, the need for clear-cut, reliable legal advice has never been more vital.
With over 14 years' experience advising on every aspect of Technology and Commercial Law, Oakmont Law was founded by Gemma Tominey in 2021. Gemma is a dual-qualified lawyer (New York and England) having qualified as a lawyer in England in 2007 after obtaining a law degree and a Master of Law in Corporate and Advanced Commercial and E-Commerce Law. Gemma spent the first 11 years of her career in private practice. Since 2018, she has worked as a legal consultant to some of the leading law firms in the UK, supporting them in all areas of non-contentious technology, outsourcing, data protection and commercial law.
In 2022, Gemma passed the New York Bar and qualified as a New York Attorney. She regularly advises clients in New York on legal matters.
On launching Oakmont Law, the team set out with a vision to bring a fresh approach to the legal world, utilising our experience and expertise to bring a fresh approach to the market. Our mission to deliver a personal, trustworthy and honest experience to our clients is paramount and we do this by taking the time to understand each client and their individual needs and provide solutions for their legal and commercial issues.
